Special trains will run from Lucknow to Mumbai and Delhi: They will operate on the Gomtinagar-Valsad, Delhi-Varanasi, and Sultanpur-Mumbai routes.

In light of the increasing crowds on trains and long waiting lists during the festive season, the Railways has decided to operate several special trains to provide relief to passengers. Special trains will be operated between Delhi-Varanasi and Sultanpur-Varanasi to Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, in addition to running a weekly train between Gomtinagar and Valsad. These services will facilitate long-distance travel for passengers from Lucknow and surrounding districts.
