The third day of protests by nursing students at KGMU: Students are on a sit-in strike, demanding the removal of the Dean and Principal from their posts.

The protest by nursing students in Lucknow continues for the third day. A large number of students have abandoned their studies and are sitting on a dharna (protest) in front of the main gate. Sloganeering is also taking place intermittently during this time. The students say that the dharna and protests will continue until the Dean and Principal are removed from their positions. There has been widespread outrage among nursing students since the death of Divyanshi Yadav, a 2025 batch nursing student, on September 19th.
