The second day of the sit-in protest by nursing students at KGMU has ended. The deceased student's father stated that she lost her life due to the university administration's actions and urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to deliver justice.

The protest by nursing students at KGMU in Lucknow concluded on Tuesday evening at 5 pm, marking the second day of their demonstration. Approximately 300 students were staging a sit-in at the nursing college campus. The protest, which began at 9 am on Monday, continued throughout the night. Many students remained seated for the entire night. The protest continued throughout the day on the second day as well. The students were demanding the resignation of their Dean. In the evening, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sonia Nityanand called the protesting students and spoke with them. She listened to each of their points.
