Re-modelling work is underway in Gorakhpur-Gonda and Mughma. Several trains, including MEMU and DEMU, have been cancelled, while routes of Vande Bharat and several express trains have been changed.

Automatic signalling will be commissioned between Swami Narayan Chhapia, Maskanwa, Lakhpatnagar, and Mankapur stations on the Gorakhpur-Gonda rail section on September 26th and 27th. As a result, several passenger, DEMU, and MEMU trains running from Gorakhpur will be cancelled, while the routes of many express trains will be changed. The stoppages of some trains will also be affected, and many trains will run late. Meanwhile, re-modelling work is underway at Mughma station on the Eastern Railway.
