Demand for stopping toll collection on incomplete NH-233: Demands outstanding compensation, warns to gherao PMO on September 30th.

On Thursday at 1 pm, farmers led by Purvanchal Kisan Union President Ajit Singh submitted a letter to the DM in Jaunpur's Collectorate. The farmers demanded compensation with outstanding interest for those affected by the construction of National Highway-233 and land acquisition. They also demanded an immediate halt to toll collection on the incomplete and damaged road, as well as compensation for the families of those who have lost their lives in road accidents.
