Varanasi-SOG busted a gang of gamblers in Sigra: 47 gamblers were placing bets worth lakhs at an AC hall, and the SO has been accused of collusion.

In the Sigra police station area of Varanasi, a large gambling den was raided by DCP Crime and SOG-2, resulting in the capture of a major gang. The SOG-2 team initially knocked on the door but when it didn't open, they broke down the door to enter. They found that lakhs of rupees were being wagered in an air-conditioned hall. Upon seeing the SOG team, chaos erupted, and everyone started running away, leaving their belongings behind. The constables quickly apprehended several people, while some tried to make phone calls by introducing themselves.
