Shiv Sena leader's killers are hiding in Prayagraj: They were spending the night in a temple and preparing to flee to Nepal; the Mumbai Crime Branch and UP STF caught them.

The two shooters who fled after the murder of Pradeep (Bala) Purnekar, an office bearer of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) faction in Thane, Maharashtra, were hiding in Prayagraj. They were preparing to escape to Nepal from here. For this, they had contacted an auto driver from Naini. The auto driver had assured them that they would be taken to Nepal in 2-3 days. He had also informed them that he was in contact with a gang involved in illegally transporting people across the India-Nepal border.
