The Varanasi STF unit arrested a criminal wanted for ₹50,000 on Thursday in Guwahati, Assam. The accused is wanted in connection with a murder case registered at the Sahatwar police station in Ballia. A team raided a house located on Bajra Para Road in the Vashisht police station area of Guwahati, based on information that he was hiding there. Rajkumar Verma alias Pradeep War, who had been absconding since 2012, is wanted in the case.
