In Varanasi, PM Modi performs Ganga puja on his birthday: Wishes for the Prime Minister's long life amidst Vedic chants.

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 76th birthday, a special event was organized at Ganga Ghat by Namami Gange in Varanasi. Activists performed rituals and worshiped Mother Ganga, wishing for the Prime Minister's long life. During this time, a 76-meter-long chunri (a traditional scarf) was offered to Mother Ganga. After the puja, the chunri was distributed among the needy as prasad. The Ganga Aarti program, which took place with Vedic mantras, included 'Shantakaram Bhujagash'.
