The ancient Shri Baba Batuk Bhairav temple in Kamchha, Varanasi, was adorned with greenery and water on Sunday. A large crowd of devotees gathered from morning to catch a glimpse of Baba Batuk Bhairav, who is revered as a child form seated on a golden throne. The queue of devotees started forming outside the temple at 5 am. After Panchamrit Snan (ritual bathing) and Mangal Aarti, darshan-pujan began, which continued throughout the day. The temple premises were decorated with flowers and leaves for special adornment.
