On the second day of the 33-day-old ancient Shriramleela in Shivpur, Varanasi, a soulful staging of Lord Rama's birth took place on Saturday. As soon as the scene of Lord Rama's birth was staged amidst the verses and couplets from the Ramcharitmanas, the entire stage resonated with cheers. Devotees who had come to witness the birth of Rama were overwhelmed with emotion. During the staging, Mother Kaushalya praised Lord Rama, saying, "Oh, Lord, you are the embodiment of kindness and compassion, the one who showers blessings upon the poor."
