A commotion erupted at the Gajokhar power sub-station in Pindara tehsil, Varanasi. The situation escalated when villagers who had been experiencing a power outage on one feeder for three days decided to cut off the lights of another feeder as well. Other villagers from the area arrived at the scene and allegedly assaulted the protesters who were staging a sit-in. It is also alleged that a Scorpio vehicle was damaged during the incident. Police, who received information about the commotion and assault, eventually arrived at the scene and managed to calm down the situation.
