Objection to the package providing partners in Garba: Hindu Utsav Samiti submits a memorandum to the Police Commissioner.›

The Hindu Utsav Samiti and the Sanskriti Bachao Manch have raised objections to the alleged packages circulating on social media in the name of providing partners to young people for Garba events. Led by the committee's president, Chandrashekhar Tiwari, the officials submitted a memorandum to the police commissioner on Thursday, demanding an investigation and action against the concerned organization/individuals. Tiwari claimed that packages ranging from 500 rupees to 6500 rupees were being offered on social media.

Before the start of Navratri, along with garba events, dresses, and dance classes, posts about 'Rent A Garba Partner' are now surfacing on social media. Some accounts linked to Bhopal and Indore are advertising different packages offering partners for playing garba. These include packages for 2 hours, all day, and 3 days together, with prices ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹6,500. These posts only mention playing garba.
