Solan youth sentenced to 10 years: Drugs ordered via mail parcel from UK and Germany; NCB Chandigarh had registered a case.

Pankaj Sharma, a resident of Solan, has been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in the case of importing drugs through international postal parcels. The court of Special Judge-II, Solan, convicted him on October 3, 2026, and also imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh. Pankaj was found guilty under Section 22(C) of the NDPS Act. This action was taken by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)'s Chandigarh Zonal Unit. The parcel, which originated from the UK, was seized in Solan.
