Unlike previous years, there is no Bhadra shadow this time for Raksha Bandhan, and the auspicious time to tie the Rakhi will be from 6:00 AM to 9:48 AM. According to astrologers, it is permissible to tie the Rakhi throughout the day as well. Meanwhile, sisters at Shri Hanuman Dham in Sector-40B, Chandigarh, have prepared an environmentally friendly Rakhi that is over 12¼ feet long for their 32-foot tall idol of Veer Hanuman Ji.
