In Chandigarh, a massive Rakhi prepared for Veer Hanuman Ji: 12 ¼ feet long, will be tied today. It is eco-friendly and ready, and prayers will be offered for happiness, prosperity, and safety.

Preparations for Raksha Bandhan have been completed at Shri Hanuman Dham in Sector 40B, Chandigarh. Sisters have prepared a special rakhi that is over 12¼ feet long to adorn the 32-foot tall statue of Veer Hanuman Ji. It took women about 10 days to create this massive rakhi. Special attention has also been paid to making the rakhi environmentally friendly. Now, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, sisters will formally offer this rakhi to Veer Hanuman Ji at 11:15 am today.
