Administration's focus on dangerous buildings in Chandigarh: Preparation for notices to 131 house owners, meeting with DC's Estate Office.

The administration has now initiated efforts to make security arrangements for old and dilapidated buildings in the city, as a precautionary measure. Following recent building accidents, DC Nishant Kumar Yadav held a meeting with estate office officials on Tuesday and directed them to issue notices to the owners of 131 identified unsafe buildings in the city. These building owners will have to respond within one month after receiving the notice. The administration plans to take action against the buildings.
