With the help of police, NDRF team, and local residents, 18 tourists who were stranded in the Kaushalya River near the Shivlotrian temple in Panchkula's Pinjore area have been safely rescued. These tourists had come from Delhi and Chandigarh to visit the temple. The incident occurred on Saturday evening when these tourists were crossing the Kaushalya River after visiting the Shivlotrian temple. Due to sudden heavy rainfall in the mountains, the water level of the river rose rapidly.
