To curb drug abuse in Chandigarh, the administration has now introduced a facility for the general public to directly report information to the police. UT Administrator Gulabchand Kataria has issued two numbers, including a toll-free number 8283040100 and a landline number 0172-2677037. Information regarding drug sales, supply, and related activities can be reported to these numbers. The administration has clarified that the identity of the person providing information will remain confidential.
