Green corridor for organ donation in Panchkula: Army man's father sends 2 kidneys, liver, and eyes to Delhi; police clear the way.

Following the declaration of 62-year-old Amar Chand, the father of army man Ranbir Singh, as brain dead by doctors after he was admitted to Command Hospital in the Chandimandir area of Panchkula, his family showed courage and sensitivity by consenting to his postmortem organ donation. Following this humanitarian decision, Panchkula police arranged a special green corridor from Chandimandir Cantt to Chandigarh Airport to ensure timely delivery of life-saving organs to hospitals in Delhi.
