The second phase of the anti-drug campaign has begun in Chandigarh, with a list being created of youths trapped in drug addiction. In 20 days, 163 FIRs have been registered and 698 arrests made.

The first phase of the anti-drug campaign launched in Chandigarh has been completed. During the campaign, which ran from September 11 to 30, the police registered 163 FIRs and arrested or took into custody 698 people. The second phase of the campaign will now begin, focusing on taking action against drug dealers as well as rehabilitating young individuals who have fallen prey to addiction. Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria has directed the police and administration to take action for the second phase.
