200 kg of paneer seized from pickup truck in Chandigarh: Food Safety Department conducts a raid at 5 am; team sends samples to the lab for testing.

On Saturday morning, around 5 am, the Food Safety Department team seized a consignment of paneer at Mandi Ground in Ramdarbar, Chandigarh. Based on information received, the team intercepted a Bolero pickup vehicle carrying the paneer and conducted an inspection. Approximately 200 kg of paneer was recovered from the vehicle. The administration took this action due to concerns about adulterated paneer being sold in the city. The team confiscated the entire consignment and stored it in a cold storage facility. A sample of the paneer has been sent for testing.
