Following the announcement of a petrol langar (community kitchen) in Chandigarh, a major scam has come to light involving the distribution of fake coupons. Fake coupons worth ₹2500, ₹1000, and ₹500 were seized from a petrol pump. Subsequently, these coupons for all three denominations have been discontinued. Now, only ₹300 coupons are being accepted at petrol pumps. The incident occurred at Sidhu Petrol Pump in Sector-7, Chandigarh. The petrol pump operators were caught red-handed while offering "Raja di king" (king of kings) to the customers.
