Mission Clean Punjab: The cleanliness campaign will run from August 29th to September 7th.

Chandigarh| The state government will launch a 10-day special cleanliness drive from August 29 to September 7 to make Punjab garbage-free. Local Bodies Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the main objective of the campaign is to eliminate all identified garbage vulnerable points across the state. Under the campaign, MLAs, Deputy Commissioners, Municipal Corporation Commissioners, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Executive Officers and non-governmental organizations will work together.
