The Lawrence gang was behind the firing that occurred in three locations in Mohali, including two businesspersons. This gang was being operated by Ravinder alias Kali from Burail Jail. Police have arrested three members of the gang along with weapons, while a fourth is currently absconding. The accused had previously demanded a ransom of 5 crore rupees from one of the businessmen. The accused have been identified as Akashdeep Singh, resident of Sector-35 Chandigarh; Praveen Kumar, resident of Bathinda; and Jashandeep Singh, resident of Ansal Colony Mohali.
