Illegal sale of Pregabalin-300 medicine in Chandigarh: Chemist's drug license suspended, action taken for selling medicine without doctor's prescription.

The administration has intensified its crackdown on the illegal sale of drugs used for intoxication in Chandigarh. The medicine license of New Shivam Medicos, located in Ramdarbar Phase-2, has been suspended for two weeks. This action was taken in connection with the sale of Pregabalin-300 capsules without a valid medical prescription and necessary purchase and sale records. A team from the Drug Control Wing of the Chandigarh Administration followed up on the suspension order on Monday.
