Crackdown on drugs in Chandigarh: Six medical stores raided, violations found at five chemist shops; violation of chemist cosmetics shop.

As part of the campaign to prevent drug abuse in the city, a joint team from the Drugs Control Wing and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force raided six chemist shops. The action was taken in villages Kajhedi and Bapudham Colony. The team inspected medical stores for compliance with regulations, including sales and records of medicines. During the investigation, five out of the six chemist shops were found to be involved in the sale of drugs and cosmetics.
