Chandigarh - The remand of the son who murdered a head constable has been extended by 4 days. The person who gave him the machete has been arrested and asked for ₹1 million in dowry; when he refused, he was shot while sleeping.

In the case of the murder of Head Constable Nitin in Chandigarh Sector-22, police have arrested Mohammad Shaheen, the accused who provided a country-made pistol to his son Armaan. Police are now searching for the third accused, Sahil, who is reported to be hiding in Meerut. After Armaan's three-day police remand ended, police presented him and Mohammad Shaheen in court today. The police have taken both of them into further custody.
