An Ertiga car fell into a deep gorge in Morni, Panchkula, resulting in one death and serious injuries to four others. The five friends from Chandigarh were returning after an outing.

A horrific road accident occurred late at night in Morni, a popular tourist destination in the Panchkula district. Near Mandana village in Morni, an Ertiga car filled with friends lost control and fell into a deep gorge. At the time of the accident, there were 5 friends on board, who had come to visit Morni from Chandigarh. The car was completely mangled due to the impact of the fall into the gorge. In this accident, Vishal (19), a resident of Bahlana village in Chandigarh, died on the spot, while four other companions suffered serious injuries.
