It's easier for tourists to reach Manali, and the Diodh-Hanogi tunnel has opened: Gadkari said it will reduce travel time by an hour, provide relief from traffic jams, and eliminate the fear of landslides in a 5.5 km area.

Two tunnels have been completed on the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane highway at Deodh and Hanogi. They have been opened to vehicles from today, making it easier for tourists visiting Manali from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and all over the country. Tourists traveling to Manali will also get significant relief from traffic jams and landslides on the affected road. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has constructed the Pandoh-Takoli section between Mandi and Manali.
