A major revelation has emerged in the cases of stolen batteries from cameras installed at traffic junctions in Chandigarh. In the past month, 53 batteries have been stolen from various junctions in the city. Notably, in many instances, the thieves were caught on CCTV cameras, with their auto numbers even recorded. Despite this, not a single accused has been apprehended by the police so far. The thieves arrive at the junction at night and steal the batteries, leaving no trace behind.
