A major question has arisen regarding the work done in Sewerline Pump Scheme-1 under the AMRUT scheme in Municipal Corporation Chandigarh. According to a report, full payment was made claiming 598 meters of sewer pipeline had been laid on record, while an on-site inspection revealed only about 380 meters of pipeline had actually been laid. The discrepancy between the paperwork and the actual work site, which is approximately 218 meters, has caused a stir within the Municipal Corporation. The matter has been taken seriously.
