Today in Chandigarh, serial killer Monu was sentenced to death: a 60-year-old man. A 21-year-old student and a 40-year-old woman were raped and murdered.

The Chandigarh District Court has convicted serial killer Monu Kumar in the third rape and murder case as well. This time, the court found him guilty of raping and murdering a 60-year-old woman. This is the third case out of three murders registered against Monu that have resulted in his conviction by the court. Previously, he had been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murders of a 21-year-old MBA student and a 40-year-old woman.
