Congress stages protest in Chandigarh for reinstatement of DA-OPS

Chandigarh | The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee will hold a protest against the Punjab government on September 8 over the reinstatement of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Old Pension Scheme (OPS). Congress leader Hardeep Singh Kingra stated that protesters will gather at the Punjab Congress Bhawan in Sector-15 at 10:30 am and march towards the DC office and CM's office from there. Kingra alleged that the Punjab government has failed to provide benefits to employees and pensioners, leading to a situation where they are being forced to work without adequate compensation.
