The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation will raise ₹82.45 crore through advertising: selection was done through a tender for 526 sites and physical survey; meeting on September 22nd.

In Chandigarh, the Municipal Corporation has been suffering revenue losses for a long time due to vacant advertising spaces in public toilets and connecting passages. Now, the corporation is preparing to increase its income by developing new sources of advertising. As part of this initiative, the agency will be given the rights to advertise 320 public toilet blocks, 144 connecting passage sites, and 62 cycle docking station sites in the city. A total of 526 sites have been allocated for advertising through tenders.
