Bulldozers used on illegal construction near Chandigarh Sukhna Lake: Action taken after High Court's strictness, officials instructed to stop construction.

Despite the ban on construction in the catchment area of Chandigarh Sukhna Lake, the Chandigarh administration launched a bulldozer drive against illegal construction and encroachment in Kaivambala village on Tuesday. The administration team demolished the illegally constructed structures. A large number of police forces were deployed during this operation, which was led by Tehsildar Poonya Sharma. The administration team removed the constructions that were built against the rules from the spot.
