Chandigarh: A pledge march against drug abuse in Chandigarh, as administrators stated that the police alone cannot fight the war against drugs, and a helpline has been launched to report drug-related information.

In Chandigarh, a drug-free pledge march was organized on Thursday to unite people against drug abuse. The Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, flagged off the march from Leisure Valley in Sector 10 and also participated in it. The march concluded at Tiranga Park in Sector 17, where the Administrator administered the oath of de-addiction to the participants. The march covered schools, colleges, and universities.
