Panchkula's Constable Sapna Yadav Murder Case: The High Court granted bail to the husband after a year and a half, commenting that keeping him in custody for a long time is like sentencing without a trial.

A major verdict has come from the Punjab and Haryana High Court in the case of the suspicious death of Sapna Yadav, a female constable of Chandigarh Police. A bench of Justice HS Grewal of the High Court, while hearing the case, granted regular bail to the accused husband, Parvinder. The court clarified in its order that the entire case is based on circumstantial evidence. Furthermore, the accused has been continuously in jail for the past 1 year, 6 months, and 19 days.
