Doctors learning new techniques in knee and hip surgery: patients may receive more accurate and safer treatment, live surgeries, and cadaver training.

Doctors conducted three days of training and discussions on new technologies and more precise surgical methods for knee and hip joint replacements. The Annual PGI Arthroplasty Conference 2026 was organized by the Orthopedic Surgery Department of PGIMER from September 17 to 19 at The Lalit in Chandigarh. This will directly benefit patients undergoing joint replacements in the future, as it provides doctors with complex operation planning and more accurate surgical techniques.
