GMADA's new plan near Chandigarh Airport: Rooms to be built up to institutes, sale and purchase of land prohibited; notification issued.

The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has initiated preparations for the Mohali Aerotropolis extension. To this end, a notification has been issued to acquire 186.5979 acres of land from village Azizpur. With the issuance of the notification, the sale and purchase of land in this area have been prohibited. Now, GMADA will begin surveying the land and other necessary work here. The government has assigned the additional Deputy Commissioner (General) for Mohali to oversee this project.
