In Ludhiana jail as well, prisoners were visited by their sisters to tie rakhis. They tied rakhis to each other in the presence of police. Many sisters hugged and cried with their brothers. A young man arrested in connection with a drug smuggling case said, "Earlier, we used to get our rakhi tied at home."
