In Tarn Taran, a woman was electrocuted to death. Two masked miscreants entered the house and started looting. As she tried to stop them, the lone woman in the house attempted to resist, but the robbers used exposed wires lying nearby to shock her with an electric current. This resulted in the woman's immediate death, leaving black marks on her arm. The perpetrators then fled with approximately 70,000 rupees in cash and gold earrings, chains, and rings from the house.
