AAP has expressed its opposition to the Chandigarh Health Service Rules 2026, stating that Baltej Pannu's claim that Punjab will have a reduced share of medical posts to 36% is incorrect.
Baltej Pannu, the media in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab, strongly opposed the draft of the Chandigarh Health Service Rules 2026 on Wednesday. He stated that the proposed changes would reduce Punjab's share in medical services in Chandigarh and violate the agreement between Punjab and Haryana. In a statement, AAP Punjab's media in-charge Baltej Pannu said, "Earlier there was a 60:40 arrangement, with 60% for Punjab and 40% for Haryana."
