Three people, including a constable from Chandigarh Police, have been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a property dealer in Punjab and shooting him after taking him hostage. A body was also found on the Kurukshetra canal.

The court of the District and Sessions Judge in Kurukshetra has convicted three accused, including a Chandigarh Police constable, in the murder case of Punjab's property dealer Sandeep Singh.
