Chandigarh | The heritage furniture of Chandigarh has been put up for auction abroad. Ajay Jagga, a member of the Administrative Advisory Council and Heritage Item Protection Cell, has sent a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, and the administration, demanding that the auction be stopped and the furniture be brought back to Chandigarh. According to the letter, Pierre Jeanneret's 'Chair V Type Can Seat Can Back' is part of an auction scheduled for September 30 at the Artcurial in Paris.
