Former DIG Bhullar case, middleman to appear in court today: The ED will take a production warrant in the money laundering case; he is currently lodged in Burail Jail.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has expanded its investigation into the bribery and money laundering case involving suspended former DIG of Punjab Police, Harcharan Singh Bhullar, to include middleman Krishnanu Sharda. After conducting raids at locations in Punjab and Chandigarh related to Bhullar about 5 months ago, the ED now wants to question Krishnanu. To this end, the agency has filed a production warrant application in the special PMLA court in Chandigarh. Krishnanu is currently in judicial custody in Burail Jail.
