The Punjab government reached the High Court late at night against the ED raid, appointing a warrant officer for surveillance; this decision came after raids on the minister's nephew.

The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has been facing a raid by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for two days at its offices in Punjab and Chandigarh. Meanwhile, the ED also conducted raids at the house of Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian's nephew in Ludhiana. Late at night, the team also reached the house of former Delhi minister Satendra Jain. Following this, the Punjab government went to the High Court late Wednesday night. The government demanded an immediate hearing in the High Court. On this petition, the High Court has ordered a raid by the ED.
