A controversy has erupted over the shooting of a new song by Punjabi singer Nijjar, also known as Harinder Pal Singh, at DAV College in Jalandhar. Nijjar is accused of promoting gun culture in his song. His associates allegedly brandished weapons on the college campus during the shoot. Following this incident, an FIR has been registered against Nijjar. In response to the controversy, Professor Mandeep Singh has written a letter to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Varjeet Walia and the management committee, demanding action.
