The Chandigarh Police has refused to take action on the demand for an FIR against comedian Kunal Kamra, academic and social activist Sonam Wangchuk, and Abhijit Deepak, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party, for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. In its response filed in the Chandigarh District Court, the police stated that the alleged incident mentioned in the complaint took place in Delhi. Therefore, the jurisdiction to investigate the matter lies with Delhi.
