In Punjab, two and a half crore in cash was found at the home of an IAS officer: The government has approached the High Court against the ED raid; the court appointed a warrant officer.

The ED raid at the Punjab and Chandigarh offices of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) continues for a third day. On Wednesday, the ED also raided the house of Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian's nephew in Ludhiana. Later that night, the team reached former Delhi minister Satendra Jain's house in Chandigarh. Following this, the Punjab government went to the High Court late at night. The government requested an immediate hearing in the High Court. On this petition, the High Court has ordered a raid by the ED.
